Installing NetBird
Please download and install NetBird from the following website: https://app.netbird.io/install
Configuring NetBird
After installing NetBird, please follow these steps:
- Click on the NetBird icon in the taskbar
- Navigate to Settings → Advanced Settings
- In the Management URL field, enter: https://netbird.pstu.ac.bd
- Click Save
Connecting to the Network
- Click the NetBird icon again from the taskbar
- Select Connect
Your default web browser will open the following website: https://netbird.pstu.ac.bd
Please sign in using your academic email address through the appropriate authentication option.
Note: Currently, only email accounts under the cse.pstu.ac.bd domain are supported. Support for additional domains will be added in the future.
After successful verification of your academic email account, your device will be connected to the NetBird network.
Accessing Academic Resources
Once connected to the NetBird network, you will be able to access academic resources remotely.
Currently available:
- IEEE Xplore
- Wiley
- Springer
- ScienceDirect
- Palgrave
- Oxford University Press
- JSTOR,
Additional academic resources will be added in the future.
Remote Desktop (RDP) Access
After successfully connecting to the NetBird network:
- Open Remote Desktop Connection
- Use the appropriate computer name as listed below:
- For DEVPC-02 (previously accessible via port 6741), use: devpc-02.cse.pstu
- For GPUPC-02 (previously accessible via port 6747), use: gpupc-02.cse.pstu
Please continue using your existing credentials to log in. You should then be able to access your assigned remote desktop profile successfully.
